About the Author
Gigi McMoore creates stories that reflect culture, family, and childhood experiences.
Raised in American Sāmoa, her debut children’s book, Pai and the Ocean’s Gift, is a tribute to her late Papa, honoring his love for the ocean and marking the 10th anniversary of his passing. Now a mother herself, Gigi writes to celebrate Sāmoan culture, language, and traditions, crafting stories where her son—and children everywhere—can see themselves and their experiences reflected.
